Summary of Much Ado About Nothing

Putting this into a couple sentences, let's just say I'm going to explain the bare minimum. So there is this guy named Leonato and he has a niece, Beatrice, and a daughter, Hero. This dude named Benedick is talking to Beatrice and they get into an argument. Apparently, when a man and a woman argued back then, it was considered an argument. From that point on, every one in their friend group tried to get them together. (Sounds a bit like real life, doesn't it?) There is also this other guy named Claudio who is best buddies with Benedick, and he had his eyes set on Hero. There was this mascarade ball and all of them attend. Claudio decides that he needs a wing man in order to court Hero and tells this other other dude named Don John to hide behind a mask, court Hero for him and wed the two. Word gets around that Don John isn't doing this for his buddy, he just wants Hero for himself. They realize it was a big mistake and Claudio then is scheduled to get married to Hero later that week or month or something. Oh but there's more. Don John sends this dude to go flirt with Margaret, a hand maiden for Hero. He calls Margaret Hero, and Claudio thinks that this dude and Hero are together. Claudio accuses Hero and Beatrice knows that Hero and that dude are not a thing. Hero, Beatrice and Leonato decide they will fake Hero's death and so that dude will admit it was a whole scheme. So Hero is "dead" now and that makes Claudio feel guilty and that dude, I don't bother to look up his name, has to fess up. Then Beatrice and Hero put on veils and Benedick tells Margaret to take off the veil, and Hero takes off her veil *gasp* and the couples get married, Benedick and Beatrice, then Hero and Claudio.
Make sure to not reference this, it is not accurate enough to be a source.
